| Résumé : | The species involved in this subtask are : Norway spruce (ARBORETUM), Sitka spruce (COILLTE, FORESTRY COMMISSION), Hybrid larch (CEMAGREF, FORESTRY COMMISSION, INRA) and Douglas fir (INRA). The main points focused in the second year were : Stock plant production : height of hedging (ARBORETUM, FORESTRY COMMISSION), nutrition (FORESTRY COMMISSION), lighting (CEMAGREF,INRA), enviroments and facilities (CEMAGREF, FORESTRY COMMISSION, INRA), age, clone and genotype influences (CEMAGREF, FORESTRY COMMISSION, INRA). Rooting of cuttings : effect of stock plant growth conditions tested above on root ability, length of cuttings and effect of moisture of rooting medium, environments and facilities used for rooting (CEMAGREF). Low cost pilot production of Sitka spruce, hybrid larch (COILLTE, INRA) |
