Résumé :
|
The aim of the project is to evaluate the effect of microbial inoculation (ectomycorrhizal fungi and Mycorrhization Helper Bacteria MHB) on the rooting of forest trees and European Chestnut cuttings and on their root and shoot development after transplantation. We propose to elucidate the mechanism involved in the improvement of rooting by microbial inoculation (hormones and other metabolites production). The results of nursery field experiments could be adapted and applied in practice to improve the present standard of cuttings. For forest trees the final objective is to associate clones selected because of their superior form and vigour or wood quality, with superior strains of ectomycorrhizal fungi or bacteria. For European Chestnut the objective is to produce micropropagated plants well adapted to field conditions and more resistant to Phytophtora and other root pathogens. The consolidated report follows the recommendations of the commission task per task, with the following chapters for each task : summary, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion and dissemination. The chapters conclusion and action are common to the six tasks. The consolidated report is followed by the ten individual reports in which are included graphs tables and pictures.
