Ce document de travail a été écrit suite aux tempêtes qui ont traversé la France en décembre 1999. Il tente de décrire un des enjeux de la reconstitution des forêts endommagées, à savoir l'utilisation d'un matériel génétique de bonne qualité. Il s'agit en particulier d'éviter une pénurie en régulant l'offre et la demande en matériel forestier de reproduction, tout en maintenant un niveau de qualité satisfaisant. This working paper was written after the storms which crossed France in December 1999. It is an attempt to describe one aspect of the restoration of forest, that is the utilisation of good quality genetic material. We must particularly avoid scarcity by regulating supply and demand of forest reproductive material, as well as maintaining a sufficient quality level. |
