Cette publications dresse un panorama de la situation actuelle des ressources génétiques du hêtre et des chênes pédonculé et sessile en France. This paper presents a panorama (or overview) of the actual state of genetic resources of beech and pedunculate and sessile oaks in France. The different following points are studied : occurrence, economic importance, types of silvicultural treatments, threats in marginal situations or risks due to the use in the past of material with foreign or unknown origins for reforestation, actual regulation for the use of forest reproductive material (selected seed stands and regions of provenance) provenance and progeny tests and specific measures of conservation : an in situ conservation network has been already established for beech and a similar project is in preparation for oaks. Some details about objectives of these network, structure and management recommendations of conservation units are given. |
