| Résumé : | The prolonged period of sexual indeterminacy and subsequent gonadal differentiation of lampreys was investigated. chapter 1 deals with age, growth, and sex ratio among populations of least brook lamprey, lampetra aepyptera, larvae: an argument for environmental sex determination. chapter 2 with histological criteria for the discrimination of sex in sea lamprey, petromyzon marinus, larvae. chapter 3 with the effect of stocking density on gonadal differentiation in sea lamprey, petromyzon marinus, larvae. chapter 4 with the effect of sex steroids on gonadal differentiation in sea lamprey. chapter 5 with growth, fecundity and egg size of least brook lamprey, lampetra aepyptera. chapter 6 with the effect of density and sex on growth of sea lamprey. |
