The communications presented at the workshop are classified according to the topics listed below. " Intra-tree modelling of ring width and branching in connection with the silviculture (broad sense) "-" Modelling the evolution of tree shape and associated reaction wood in connection with the silviculture (broad sense) " - " Intra-tree modelling of selected basic wood properties " - " Individual, genetic, silvicultural and environmental effects on the parameters of the models giving intra-tree variation of selected basic wood properties. Non-destructive evaluation of these parameters " - " Modelling selected technological properties of wood pieces gained from stems for which minute internal description is known in terms of ring width, anatomy and basic wood properties " - " Recent advances in computer simulation " - " Using joint modelling of growth and wood quality in order to estimate the quality of the present and future wood resource to deliver to the industry " - " Possible contributions of physiological inputs to the models linking growth and wood quality ; existing examples and results " - " Timber quality : What is quality ? The end-user requirements on wood ; and timber products " - " Feeding growth and wood quality models with considerations related to sustainable management "
