This book represents one of a three volume set consisting of an extensive dictionary of 450 univariate, multivariate, and matrix-variate distributions arising in statistical data analysis and a classified bibliography of 12000 entries. The special features of the dictionary of multivariate distributions are : - Systematic and extensive coverage of 150 discrete and continuous bivariate, multivariate and matrix-variate distributions - Joint probability density functions, marginal and conditional distributions and moments - Inter-relations among different distributions - Charts depicting these inter-relations - Directional distributions and their inter-relations The special features of the bibliography are : - Classification of each entry by 162 classes of distributions, 43 categories of statistical inference and structures and 10 fields of application - Grouping of entries for each of the 162 distributions according to 43 categories - A systematic and efficient tool to a reader for the survey of literature he needs for research, teaching , etc.
