Résumé :
|
Six field trials of Larix laricina including 5-55 provenances on each locality were evaluated 17-21 years after establishment. For optimal production in southern Sweden provenances should be transferred 6-7 degrees of latitude north of its origin. Seed sources to be used in northern Sweden should originate from high elevation. In suitable sites the stem volume production of L. laricina may reach 90-100 m3 per hectare during the first 20-year-period.
