Ce volume aborde les chapitres suivants : boisement et reboisement (matériel de reproduction, amélioration génétique ; choix et plantation des espèces et des provenances en fonction des stations et des objectifs ; plantation d'espèces à croissance rapide en zones tropicales ; reboisement des terres dégradées ; sylviculture des peuplements artificiels) ; gestion de la faune sylvestre (recherche de l'équilibre entre l'agriculture, la forêt et la faune en zone tempérée ; gestion de la faune en zone tropicale ; aspects législatifs et institutionnels de l'utilisation économique de la faune ; élevage des espèces de gibier ; importance sociale et économique de la faune).
