| Résumé : | This consolidated report summarises the main results found in year 1 by the partners of task 4.1 (mass-production of improved varieties) of "larch wood chain" European project. The activities dealt with : - flower stimulation and seed orchard management (influence of gibberellin 4/7 quantity and rootstock in conventional orchards, influence of girdling, gibberellin, root-pruning and environment in containerised seed orchards) - pollen technology and pollination (description of a pilot-scale pollen collection, determination of the relationship between pollen moisture content and activity of water, electrostatic pollination effectiveness) - seed technology (effect of cone grinding on seed quality, effect of pretreatment and temperature on germination capacity). |
