Résumé :
|
In order to reduce the cost of hybrid larch stock plants production five different types or periods of lighting have been tested : natural light, supplemental photoperiodic light, supplemental photosynthétic light (3 periods). Applied from 1/03 till 15/10, supplemental photosynthetic light has a significant positive effect on heigth, diameter and number of cuttings collected per stock plant compared with natural light. With photoperiodic light or photosynthetic light applied only till 1/06, the number of collected cuttings is intermediate. on the other hand, photosynthétic light decreases significantly the rooting percentage especially when it is applied from 1/03 to 1/06 (-42,7 %) whereas photoperiodic has no effect (+5,1%). The best multiplication rate (number of rooted cutting produced per stock plant) is obtained with photoperiodic lighting, which represents also a low cost equipment. In early August, rooted cuttings have been outplanted in the nursery of Peyrat-le-Château to test a possible effect of stock plant lighting on plant quality. Two other trials have been set in Peyrat-le-Château : outplanting density and undercutting.
