How do you measure in an ecological risk assessment? Uncertainty analysis in ecological risk assessment presents concensus from a SETAC Pellston workshop on Uncertainty analysis in ecological risk assessment held in Pellston, Michigan. The workshop objectives were to improve the understandind of uncertainty analysis within the ecological risk assessment framework, to address the appropriate use of specific methods for estimating and expressing uncertainty in all facets of a risk analysis, and to disseminate methods and procedures to enhance communication of the results of uncertainty analysis to decision-makers and the public. These proceedings fulfill those objectives.
