Résumé :
|
This water temperature model is designed to predict instream water temperatures based on either historical or synthetic hydrological, meteorological, and stream geometry conditions. The model is apllicable to any size watershed or river basin. The report has four sections : Part 1 apllications. This is an overview designed to explain the objective and scope model, discuss data sources and different solution techniques available, and provide illustrative examples of the use of the model. Part 2 : physical processes and math models. This part discusses the fondamental principles involved and corresponding math models, and is written for the hydrologist or hydraulic engineer. Part 3 : User's manual. This section is for the technician who will actually be doing the calculations. Part 4 : Sotware support documentation. This part is written for the ADP/ engineering staff responsible for supporting each solution technique, and provides a comprehensive program description for each solution technique.
