Résumé :
|
This is the proceedings of a multiorganization-sponsored conference held in San Diego, California. This conference offered scientists, regulators, and risk managers an opportunity to help define ecological risk assessment guidelines based scientific principles and to refine field and laboratory methods to be responsive to the needs of risk assessors. These peer-reviewed and critiqued proceedings result from some of the invited presentations. They review the emerging federal and state guidelines, offer suggestions for risk managers, and detail some of the scientific approaches to conducting ecological risk assessments that have been used succesfully in terrestrial and aquatic environments.
