| Résumé : | Providing a total overview of the ASM model family status, this publication gives the reader easy access to the different models in their original versions. In 1998 the Task Group decided to develop a new modeling platform, the ASM3, in order to create a tool for use in the next generation of activated sludge models. The ASM3, as presented in this publication is based on recent developments in the understanding of sludge process, among this the possibilities to follow internal storage compounds that play an important role in the metabolism of the organisms. |
