A program of cooperation between the food and agriculture organization of the united nations (fao) and the united nations economic and social commission for asia and the pacific (escap) was initiated in 1999 with a view to promote the development of national water visions. this book contains : -from vision to action, a synthesis of natioanl water visions in southeast asia, -malaysia's water vision, the way forward, -the philippines, formulation of a national water vision, -thailand's water vision, a case study, -vision of viet nam's water, life and environment in the 21st century.
