Résumé :
|
The marble trout is endemic to the mediterranean region and one of the most endangered freshwater fish species of the adriatic basin. the basic reason for its decline is a continuous and massive introduction of brown trout which started in 1906. both trout species interbreed, producing fertile hybrids. this action plan should be regarded as demonstration project useful for anybody who would like to promote and restore the marble trout in its native range.
