The "veneto region" with its lakes (and especially lake garda) and the great rivers, its springs, and particularly its lagoons represent an environment as a whole which requires careful harmonization of any human activity to presence this exceptional natural heritage. "efficiency in fish farm production" is the overall theme. "disease control" is of central importance and the problems at hand cross regional and international boundaries.
