Résumé :
|
The Mugilidae are among the most common teleost families in coastal waters of the world. The last comprehensive account of the family was in 1981, so a neuw review is overdue. This book provides an up to date synthesis of recent advances in knowledge, including the great leaps forward in ecological and biological information from many tropical developing countries, more intensive taxonomic investigations and biogeographical studies coupled with advances in genetic techniques, and major advances in applied aquaculture.
