Résumé :
|
This project was initiated in 1998 with the development of a surface diatom calibration set for selectec regions from the Artics islands. Surface sediments, moses, rock and other available habitats were studied from 91 ponds and lakes along with sediment cores from several sites. It quickly became clear that many of the diatoms observed from this study were either poorly documented or new and a taxonomic treatment of these diatoms from high latitudes in the Artic was waranted.
