Résumé :
|
The presentations and discussions show that algae constitute a taxonomic group particularly well adapted to answer to the expectations of the managers in charge of river water quality. the assessment of biodegradable organic pollution, eutrophication and acidification monopolize the attention of the scientists and managers. new types of damage to aquatic environments, especially streams and rivers, have appeared and it is clear that algae have many advantages as a bioindicator group for providing evidence of such damage. that is shown by the papers on the mineral and organic micropolluants, including the reduction in biodiversity in response to modifications in the trophic status.
