Résumé :

Algae are the main primary producers of most rivers in temperature regions. This justifies the abundance of recommendations for their use in monitoring environmental contamination or long-term ecosystem changes. The aim of the conference is to help the scientific exchange between researchers working on alga-based water quality monitoring used EWFD and to reinforce knowledge, personal contacts and cooperation.
