This book presents these extension and the policy rules which they imply in a systematic way, starting from a basic environmental policy framework , and extending along the issues that charactrize the current evolution of the theory of environmental policy. The book does not examine issues of natural ressource management; however, since the focus is on developing rather general model for policy design, resource management issue can be analysed with the help of concepts and models developed in this book. The book is adressed to advanced undergraduate and graduate students in enviromental economics, as well as to professionalsn researchers and policy-makers seeking to understand some fundamentals of enviromental policy.
