Résumé :

The last decade has seen a rapid growth un the use of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to predict flows. The widespread availability of powerful graphics packages has opened up what was formerly the domain of the academic researcher to graduate engineers in research and design environments in industry. This comprehensive text presents the fundamentals of CFD simply and clearly, and provides a thorough but accessible introduction to the governing equations and boundary conditions of viscous fluid flows, turbulence and its modelling, and the finite volume method of solving flow problems on computers.
