Résumé :
|
The threat of global climate change due to amthropogenic modification of the atmosphere (the so-called greenhouse effect) could potentially be one of the major environmental problems of our time. Agriculture everywhere is involved in the issue of climate change, both as a possible contributor of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere and as an industry that is highly sensitive to climatic variables. Indeed the future of food production and of global food security may depend on the stability and predictability of climate, and on the ability of farmers to adapt their practices to changing conditions.
