Some supermarket equipment manufactures use R404A as refrigerant for low temperature applications. In the paper an experimental comparison is made between the performance data of a low temperature display cabinet operating with R404A and the same display cabinet operating with CO2. The display case evaporaor experimental data are discussed. Simulation results are presented for other operating conditions.
