Résumé :
|
This study of residential heat pump systems had two objectives. The first objective was to examine variable compressor speed system behavior and determine if potential performance advantages are observed. This first objective was met through both experimental and numerical investigation. The second objective was to develop predictive capabilities to assist in the further assessment of variable compressor speed and other control effects on performance. This latter objective was met through development of both steady-state and transient models.
