Résumé :
|
Studies were made on Lygus rugulipennis (Popp.) for the purpose of selecting, by means of experiments, the most suitable plant for culturing these insects under laboratory conditions. Investigation was made of the viability of L. rugulipennis (Popp.) and length of their development cycle on the following plants : bean, a mixture of bean and rye, alfalfa and carrot (in May) and on bean and its pods (in July). The results of the experiments showed that the most suitable plant for culturing L. rugulipennis (Popp.) under laboratory conditions was bean. L. rugulipennis (Popp.) imagines brought into the laboratory from fields conditions lived longest on this plant and it proved possible to obtain the whole develpment cycle of these insects on it.
