Résumé :
|
The hibernation of Lygus rugulipennis in lucerne stands was demonstrated. It was judged from the occurence of the bugs in rape stands in February and March that the pest hibernated also in this crop. The development of Lygus rugulipennis was studied in winter wheat, lucerne, clover, sugar beet, maize and in the grass stands on balks. The spring occurence of the bug in winterwheat is of local nature. After finished growth of some cultivated plants (or after their harvesting), the bugs fly over to the stands of perennial fodder crops, especially to lucerne, where they stay in the autumn months, and a part of the pests hibernates in the stand. In Czechoslovakia the bug Lygus rugulipennis has two generations.
