Résumé :
|
An automated system for field measurement of soil nitrate was developed to aid in the spot-by-spot application of fertilizer N. The system consisted of three main components : 1- core sampling wheel ; 2- indexing and processing table and 3- data acquisition and control unit. Evaluation of the machine system was conducted in a soil bin. Results indicated that the soil samples can be taken at specific location which can be an advantage for field mapping. Also, nitrates measured with an ISFET sensor were closely correlated to the readings using a conventional ion-specific electrode. However, a slight deviation of values were observed between the ISFET sensor and the Lachat colorimetric analyzer.
