Résumé :
|
Equations have been derived for scaleup from laboratory-scale stirred tanks to commercial mixers of the rotary-disk type, and for mixing in pipeline flow, based on equality of the root-mean square of the average turbulent fluctuations in velocity. These expressions are applicable to the mixing of emulsions if the drop size is below the critical size for breakup.
