Résumé :
|
In the present thesis isothermal and non-isothermal wall jets have been studied using both a numerical model of the jet flow and experimental measurements. The numerical study involved the solution of the conservation equations for mass, momentum and energy, and two additional equations for the turbulence model in terms of the turbulence kinetic energy and its dissipation rate. These equations were solved using an iterative finite-volume procedure to obtain the velocity and temperature distribution in two and three dimensional flow fields.
