Résumé :
|
Landfill cap is expensive. Costs for conventional clay or geomembrane caps for municipal solid-waste landfills in the Northeast can approach $ 100.000 per acre. Three landfills sought to improve the new process and became the first in their respective states to use fiber clay, collected from the waste of paper mills, as barrier-layer material.
