Résumé :
|
The target is illuminated by radar energy. The missile receives the Doppler shifted target-reflected illumination and compares it to the directly received illumination to extract the target signal. This coherent detection process results in a spectrum in which the frequency of the target is roughly proportional to closing velocity. A narrowband frequency tracker locks onto the target return and extracts guidance information from it. The target must be illuminated throughout the engagement. The use of CW radar enables the system to discriminate against clutter on the basis of its Doppler frequency to provide low-altitude capability.
