These series of conference focuses on policies, research and development, regulation, practical implementation and experience related to contamined sites. Legal, financial and insurance aspects of contamined land are also included for the first time. The contents are arranged into six themes : international cooperation ; policies and strategies, government and industrial standards and protocols ; investigation and characterization, behaviour and fate of contaminants and analyses ; risk assessment, quality and health criteria ; remediation and treatment technologie, research and development and proven technologies.
