Résumé :
|
A fundamental model has been developed to simulate the dispersion and trajectories of high-momentum aerosol jet. The model predicts droplet evaporation or condensation rates based on heat and mass transfer correlations and on the vapor backpressure or concentration in the plume. Modeling details are provided here along with a practical strategy for tuning the several modules. This approach makes use of decoupled experiments and avoids iterative loops. The rainout fraction predicted by the model is a sensitive function of the initial drop size.
