The main purpose of viability theory is to explain the viable evolution of such systems by revealing the concealed feedbacks which allow the system to be regulated and provide selection mechanisms for implementing them. This volume deals with the general theory and its applications to control theory and differential games. Construction of feedbacks and dynamical feedbacks by myopic optimization methods is emphasized. Systems of first-order partial differential inclusions whose solutions are feedbacks are constructed and investigated. The basic results are extended to the case of fuzzy control problems, distributed control problems and control systems with delays and memory.
