The polyphenolic compounds, extracted by 80° ethanol,of rapeseed meal (Brassica napus L.) were measured. Paper chromatography and four different column chromatographies were used for compound separation and purification. UV spectrometry and reagent induce shifts, acid, alcaline and enzymatic hydrolysis, IR spectrometry were used for identification. Along 3-0-sophorosid-7-0-glucosid kaempferol and its sinapic ester, the hitherto unknown 3-0-glucosid-7-0-sophorosid kaempferol and its ester : 3-(0-sinapoyl-sophorosid)-7-0-glucosid kaemferol have been identified. In the last part, sinapic acid derivatives were examined and hypothesis of structures were discussed.
