Résumé :
|
The use of light scattering for determining the size and shape of particles of colloidal or subcolloidal size dates back more than half a century. The first extensive discussion of experimental light-scattering phenomena was carried out by Tyndall in 1868. The first significant work on the theory of the problem was done by Rayleigh in 1871.
