A new kinetic inhibitor was evaluated in a wheel shaped flow simulator. The study showed that the performance of this inhibitor was greatly affected by the hydrocarbon fluid. While a maximum degree of subcooling of 17-18°C was achieved in one condensate, another condensate significantly reduced the attainable subcooling to below 14°C.
