This catalogue provides an overview of the objectives, validation sites and the expected benefits of the 26 projects implemented in and managed by the Environment sector of the Telematics Applications programme. These projects were retained, following the first call (closing date March 1995), the fourth call (closing date 15 April 1997) and the specific call on Integrated Applications for Digital Sites (closing date 2 june 1997). All projects form part of the European Unions Telematics Applications programme, which has been launched under the fourth framework programme in the field of research and technological development and demonstrations (1994-1998).
