This book provides fundamental information and practical methodology necessary to solve hydrologic problems on watersheds, and to understand and develop watershed management programs. Part 1 and 2 are basic to courses on forest hydrology, range hydrology, or watershed management, as taught in many forestry and natural resource management programs. Part 3 deals with watershed management planning, implementation, and evaluation and emphasizes the multidisciplinary aspects, including social and econommic factors. Part 4 consists of special topics that provide emphasis tailored ti specific problems and to different regions of the United States and elsewhere in the world.
