Data have been collected for formation of drops in non-Newtonian fluids. An existing model has been modified to explain the results. The modified model proposed predicts the drop volumes satisfactorily. It is found that consideration of non-Newtonian behavior is important at lows and medium flow rates, and its importance decreases with increasing flow rates.
