| Résumé : | The reasons calling for rehabilitation or modernization most frequently quoted in the reports are: -low irrigation efficiency,irrigation inadequate to crops requirements and consequently low agricultural production, -difference in availability of access to water between farms located in different parts of the project area, -waterlogging and salinization of soils, -dilapidation of facilities,especially open channels, -complaints of farmers for unsatisfactory and too rigid rosters,especially those requiring night work, -too high energy consumption. |
