Résumé :
|
The climate of north-western Africa is typically mediterraneean, with a dry summer lasting from three months in the north to five or more in the south. The amount of annual precipitation diminishes in the same direction from around 800-1000 mm to less than 100mm,the southern area being quite dry.The more rainy stations situated in the mountains are not taken into account except Ain-Draham (Tunisia) because their data are missing. Most of the montly data of the stations used were obtened from the national center of atmospheric research (Ashville,Alabama,USA) and the monthly or daily publications of the meteorological service of Morocco and Tunisia.Afew gaps were filled by a multiple regression analysis.
